Avui és divendres, que bé!!

Ja tocava renovar el conjunt de piscina coberta, tot i que amb això de la pandèmia l'últim any hi he anat poc.

Finally Friday!

It was about time to sew a new indoor pool bikini set, although due to covid-19 I haven't been swimming so much lately.

Com sempre, per la calceta he fet servir el meu patró a mida.

I per la part de dalt he provat un patró de top esportiu que feia temps que tenia ullat, el patró  104 del Burda de gener de 2017.  Com que té tantes peces, m'ha anat perfecte per fer servir restes de licra , combinant tres colors.  

As usual, the bottom is my custom made pattern, and the swimming cap is by cucicucicoo's tutorial.

I did try a new pattern for the top, one that had been in my wishlist for a long time. It is number 104 from Burda january 2017. It is great to use lycra remnants.

El top va folrat amb una segona capa de licra. La cremallera és de plàstic i de fet, només és decorativa.
Les calcetes van folrades amb folre de banyador.
El gorro no va folrat.

The top is lined with the same lycra. The zipper is made from plastic, and only for decoration purposes.

The bottoms are lined with swimwear lining.

And the cap is not lined.

Segur que repetiré el patró del top, però li canviaré l'esquena, no acaba de quedar bé, les tires queden massa aprop l'una de l'altra. Potser hi posaré una esquena de nedador.

I will for sure sew this top again, but I will change the back piece, the straps are too close to each other and the back piece gapes. I might use a racerback, we'll see...

Comença la temporada d'aigua, aviat més biquinis, que ja seran per la platja!

Water season is here, so I will soon show more bikinis, it will be beach bikinis!
